Crystal Reports Issues on VS2013 Windows 8.1 64-bit

If you are facing problems running Crystal Reports on Windows 8 64-bit

Resolution

make sure you have installed the latest version of Install Executable from the following url

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7824

At the time of this writing Support Pack 13 (v.13.0.13.1597) is the latest version

Issue # 2

Unsupported Operation. A document processed by the JRC engine cannot be opened in the C++ stack windows app

Resolution
Check project configuration and platform in the Configuration Manager of the project Context. Report (.rpt files) should exist in the respective Debug or Release folder of the project
